Alternative provision at the Sensory Den Bashley

At our Bashley site we offer alternative provision for young people aged 4-11

These sessions are focused on supporting children's wellbeing, interests, building confidence and encouraging independence.
We work closely with schools, Hampshire Local authority and parents/carers to develop a personalised learning and support package.
Our purpose is to support young people to either reintegrate back into full time learning or offering support until they gain placement in a suitable specialist setting.
The child led group sessions include, mentoring, crafts, life skills, learning through play, social skills, animal care, PSHE, outdoor learning, preparing for the next steps, sensory time, community outings and the chance to explore personal interests.

With the opportunity to have personalised core skills sessions in English and Maths.

We also offer 1.1 outreach in the community for children who are not ready to access group sessions

Students can attend for up to 15 hours a week from a Wednesday to Friday with at least 2.1 staff for;

Full day (5.5 hours) £258.50
