Information about our Alternative provision at The Sensory Den (Bright and Bubbly)

Our peaceful site is on a quiet road, backing onto the forest

We have a lovely light and airy classroom looking out over the gardens, with a sensory corner.

The sensory gardens have play equipment, small animals and planters for growing vegetables.

We offer a therapeutic approach to learning, offering short sessions to improve wellbeing, build confidence and independence. We work with schools and parents/carers to develop a personalised learning and support package, with the purpose to support the student while attending mainstream school and either leading to the student attending mainstream full time or until they gain placement in a suitable specialist setting.

We offer 3 types of alternative provision.

Courses are optional and students might benefit from just being at the centre, learning skills, looking after the animals and using the sensory equipment.
